Paula Coyne has been in the Vail Valley and working with Architectural Engineering Consultants, Inc. since September 2007. Prior to relocating to Colorado, she lived in Portland, OR where she spent the first 6 years of her post-college career doing technical support and consulting for a prominent construction and real estate accounting software company. Paula received her BS in Business Administration from DeVry University in Phoenix, AZ in June 1997.

As the Office Manager of AEC, she is responsible for everything from accounting and HR to marketing and general office administration. In addition to administration & managerial duties, Paula acts as a liaison between employees and management to make the office an enjoyable place to work. In Paula’s short time at AEC, she has played a major role in developing and implementing a variety of internal systems to better manage projects, finances, and resources.

Although this position is Paula’s first in the A/E industry, she is very excited about the industry’s shift towards sustainable practices. In order to more actively participate in AEC’s focus towards sustainable design, she took and passed the LEED Accredited Professional exam in December 2008.

When she’s not working, Paula enjoys (in no particular order) hiking, camping, practicing yoga, dancing, reading, snowboarding, and experimenting in the kitchen.
